World Optic is an active provider for several different insurance plans. Below are a few different insurance carriers that represent Secure Horizon, Blue Shield, Blue View, Aetna amongst others. World Optic also offers insurance discounts as an out of network provider (for insurance plans like VSP) and has pricing, payment plans and products to accommodate all budgets for non-insured patients and/or claims. As an out of network dispensary, the insurance carrier usually asks patients to pay for the ophthalmic products or services up front. In an effort to accommodate any inconvenience World Optic offers a 20% discount for out of network patients. This discount usually is comparable if not better pricing than some actual providers. World Optic will supply  patients with an itemized receipt and a stamped envelope addressed to the proper insurance carrier. Reimbursement for a set amount will  be mailed to the patient usually within 7 to 10 business day. Prior to paying for ophthalmic products or services through an out of network provider, please contact your insurance carrier to assure that you are eligible of benefits from an out of network provider and to confirm the reimbursement amount.  Our representatives will be more than happy to price everything out for your comparison with other dispensaries, if desired.
