Repair and Modification Costs

  
   

Even though there are some common repairs, every repair is unique to the type of material, the way it was structured and the manner that it was broken. Below are approximate prices for certain repairs and modifications. We do have to see each individual repair or modification to give an exact quote. However, the pricing below is a good reference of what to expect. We stand behind our product and services offered in most cases with a one year warranty, unless there is an obvious factor preventing us from doing so. Basic Welds:   One basic weld on common metals (stainless steal and brass).Additional charge may apply if parts are needed. 1 year warranty usually applied.   $26 to $39  
Titanium and Exotic Metal Weld:   One basic weld on exotic metals. Parts may be additional. Additional charge may apply if parts are needed. 1 year warranty usually applied..   $40 to $55  
Additional Welds:   Additional welds on the same frame can be expected to be 50% of the cost of first weld 1 year warranty usually applied.   $12 to $25  
Broken Screw: Drilling and re-threading eye-wire barrel and new screw is applied. $20 to $30
Metal Rivets:   Metal Rivets applied to rivet hinges. Parts may be additional. 1 year warranty usually applied.   $20 to $35  
Plastic Rivers:   Plastic rivets or bushings used on Silhouette and Airlock style rimless frames. Pricing reflects per bushing.Package deals available.   $12 to $18  
Fusing (Plastic Frames):   Fusing of plastic frames. Parts may be additional. 1 year warranty usually applied.   $35to $45  
Cable Temples:   Flexible Nylon Cable Temple tips applied. 1 year warranty applied.parts   $36to $49  
Eye Crutches: Also referred to as Ptosis Crutches. Applied to metal or some plastic frames. pricing reflects per pair. 1 year warranty applied.on parts $74 to $89
Nose Pad Arm Inserts: Nose pad arms applied to plastic (zylo) frames. 1 year warranty applied.on parts $35 to $48
Stripping of Lens Coatings:  

The removal of Anti-Reflective and some mirror Coatings (there is less than  a 2% chance that lenses may be damaged. Unfortunately we do not assume responsibility for damaged lenses from defective coatings)

Applied Lens Coating:   Basic Anti-Reflective Coatings. 1 year warranty  applied on coating   $59 to $89
