 Broken and Stripped Screws

Broken screws and stripped screws are a common repair with eyeglasses and sunglasses. However, there are several different methods of executing this type of repair depending on material, positioning and remaining portion of the screw. This type of repair is usually treated as a three step process. First is the extraction of the screw, then a tap is used to rethread the barrel or hinge and finally a new screw is applied.

Broken and stripped screws are usually handle as a same day repair. If you need your glasses fixed, feel free to stop by our office or visit our order form, pricing, shipping and warranty links below to answer any questions and get your eyewear repaired by experienced professionals
