Dr. Sophia Brodsky was born and raised in Southern California. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University, completed a M.S. in Global Medicine at Keck School of Medicine at USC, and received her B.S. in Physiological Science at UCLA.
Her clinical externships provided comprehensive training in optometry. She diagnosed and treated ocular diseases at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center. She worked alongside retinal specialists at Orange County Retina as well as LASIK, cataract, and glaucoma surgeons at Coastal Vision. At Ketchum Health’s University Eye Center, she examined patients in Primary Care, Contact Lenses, Low Vision, and Vision Therapy. She also loved working with pediatric patients at the Boys and Girls Club in Garden Grove. Dr. Brodsky is passionate about helping her patients achieve the best vision possible and educating them about their ocular health.
When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Brodsky loves to spend time with her husband and baby girl. She also occasionally revisits the days that she owned a dessert catering business and bakes up a storm in the kitchen.
